"It can be hit or miss sometimes here at this Pappadeaux location. I used to dine here quite frequently but the service had gone down for my taste. However, my son and I wanted seafood on this particular day so I decided we’d stop in.My waiter was very inattentive, it took him literally 20 min to bring me a glass of water. Then he forgot to bring other things that I asked for so, it wasn’t the most pleasing experience dealing with him.The food, however, was excellent! I ordered the Seafood Cobb salad and it. is. to. die. for!! It is a huge salad with so much deliciousness on it. It’s pricey though, about $22 but much worth it! It was so big; I had it for lunch and dinner! After our meal, my son and I shared the Sweet Potato Pecan Pie as well - it was divine! It’s always delicious and always consistent with all of their locations! This visit would’ve gotten 5 stars but the service from the waiter was unacceptable."

"Among the most effective of Phoenix! Tiny menu, however everything on it was fantastic. Claudio is an illusionist and this location is amazing! Seafood was so fresh, one would certainly assume they get on the shore! Do not 2nd assumption this location. JUST GO, you will certainly not regret it. Given that this menu changes commonly, I will certainly return extra frequently to discover these superior creations. I liked the food and also the environment. Staff is useful, educated and passionate."

"Love this place! You will not be disappointed. The service is always amazing and the food is the best. On occasions you may see a long wait because of the crowd, however, dont let that deter you from having an opportunity to enjoy a fantastic time at Pappadeaux. The location at Jimmy Carter is way better than the other location. Just make sure if you are on I-85 North and get off on the Jimmy Carter exit, that after you make your left you are in the far right lane because you might miss the entrance. Enjoy!"

"Any time I fly into/through Hobby airport, I make it a point to stop in for lunch/dinner at Pappadeaux. Great menu selection with revolving choices. Fresh fish and seafood. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. This restaurant is usually quite busy, with potential to have to wait for a seat, though as I typically travel alone, they can usually accommodate. Attentive staff and relatively quick service. Prices are a bit high, though I find the food worth it."

"I am particular about my food and service. Pappadeaux exceeded my expectations. The salmon was perfect. Crisp outside med.rare inside with lots of crab, shrimp etc over the top. Spinach was perfect sauteed under the fish.Service person recommendations were spot on and she was attentive without being overbearing.Dessert to go is wonderful.This place is expensive but I got what I paid for"

"Went this past Tuesday for lunch, and sat at the bar. Greeted by Mathew and served a beverage. Had a question about an item not on the menu. Ryan quickly answered, and confirmed they did have "Crab Fingers". Extremely well prepared lunch and fantastic dinning experience. Never pressured, not rushed, not over checked on. A very relaxing, well enjoyed lunch, and great atmosphere. My hat goes off too Ryan, and Matthew for making this a "Great Dinning Experience!". Even when I walked too restroom, the staff was courteus, professional, and had smiles on their faces."

"Seriously impressed. The place was packed early for dinner. While parking was tricky we were able to find a spot pretty quickly. The wait was quoted about 15 minutes and we waited just about as long. Service at our table was fantastic and the food came out very quick. It was a surprise for how full the restaurant was that the service was so good. Drinks took a little longer than expected but the bar was pretty packed so I guess that was no surprise. The food was absolutely delicious. Definitely worth the money. I'm looking forward to going back."

"I’m going to start off by saying, THIS IS MY FAVORITE SEAFOOD RESTAURANT haha!! I don’t know how else to emphasize. But to proceed Depending on the time of day it can get very packed so I highly suggest making reservations. The setting is very clean, the lights are always dim (so you can have a romantic evening😉), the waitresses are always professional and knowledgeable. The food is phenomenal regardless what you get and most of all the place doesn’t smell fishy."

She made us feel welcome and gave us recommendations since we just moved to Austin. She was very accommodating and pleasant. Even told one of the managers on our way out. "Wonderful! If you go downstairs to the dining room you would never even believe you are at the airport. Very unusual to find a real restaurant in an airport. There is an escalator to take you downstairs. They have pictures on the walls from the early days in aviation. This is a family run place that started over 100 years ago and the grandsons of the original owner are running it now. Wish I had more time to look around but my flight was leaving.The food was so good. I only had time for a salad but I chose a great one. Very fresh lettuce tomatoes and avocado. Hope to go back again soon.Also my server Jasmine was excellent and very very nice!."
