Local joint at best, 5 star fried seafood and lobster roll to say the least. If you want a family sit down restaurant go down the street. If you want the best lobster roll and seafood platter for the price and a scar on your face come to The Whaleback

Good food and drinks at a very good price. Service was efficient, friendly and authentic. If you want the corporate, synthetic "hi my name is..." go somewhere else. While the glass, flatware and plates were spotless, the dining room not so much. Great, small, friendly, down and dirty neighborhood bar. When on the Cape, we'll be back.

My husband considers this place a gem of a place. Not much to look at from either outside or inside, but the bartender/waitress was super friendly and welcoming, food was reasonably priced and pretty good. Also a plus: clean bathrooms!!! Score! Have a visit. Hopefully you'll think it's a gem, too.💙

The fishermen platter was truly enough for two people. The all kind of seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection. I definitely give the restaurant a five star. My one and only seafood restaurant I ever want to eat at. The bar maid was truly friendly. THANK YOU.

Great bar atmosphere. All the locals there were very friendly. Stopped to get some take out dinner the bartender asked what he could get me within 30 seconds of walking in. Apologized for being out of lobster rolls and stuffed quahog. The bartender told me the food would be ready in 20 minutes so i waited outside. Went to walk in to get the food and the bartender brought it out to my car and said my curside to go was ready. The food was amazing even after a 10 minute ride to the cottage i was staying at. Would definitely go again. Cant wait to go back and try the lobster roll and stuff quahog.

Glad I stop by. The seafood platter was delicious. Scallops, Shrimp, Clams, Fish and French fries. Plenty of food for 2. Great customer service. Will have to comeback and try their lobster rolls.

Stopped in for a quick bite and as soon as i walked in I began to second guess my decision. It’s a small run down business but once the food came out boy was I impressed. My husband and I ordered the seafood platter to share and it was by far the best one we’ve ever had. Our server who happens to be the bartender as well was very nice, friendly and attentive. We will definitely go back the next time we are out that way.

Great fish and chips. Potions are huge and the best fish I've had is a long time. The place is small and won't look like much but the food is great. If you don't like hole in the wall type places you should skip it, but if you don't mind a bar room feel and great sea food you should check it out.

Awesome Awesome Food!!!!Fresh and tasty. If you are looking for classy atmosphere go somewhere else. If you want great seafood and lots of it,  at a cheap price...this is the place!
