November 23, 2018Vinci has been providing consistently great food for decades, an important point for the many people--like us--who have pre/post Steppenwolf Theater dinner here. The portions are substantial, well-priced, and full of flavor. Pork chops are a favorite as is the seafood linguine. The ravioli pasta dish was delicious and substantial. Beware: pace yourself! It's hard to resist the complimentary bread. And, save room for the desserts, though I had to skip the Tiramasu this time. Staff and service are incredible. From the time you enter the place until you leave, you are a special guest, no matter how busy they get. And, the kitchen staff deserves kudos for providing so many fabulous meals to a full house geared up for theater. Don't even think about coming here without a reservation!

November 13, 2018It's good, but it's not the outstanding fine dining experience I remember from 20 years ago.

November 2, 2018Service is phenomenal. Always a great stop before or after enjoying a show at Steppenwolf. Walking distance from the theatre plus take advantage of including your valet parking for dinner and show. Never disappointed with heartwarming Italian dishes and wine.

October 25, 2018Food was great. The owner came over to introduce herself and explained that everything was made from her family recipies. She was very sweet and welcoming. I will be definitely going back!

October 1, 2018Went there for brunch, sat outside with our dog. The bottomless mimosas are a great deal! The food was ok, but what really makes this place great is the service. I was taking my last sip of my drink when the waiter was putting another one down. Make sure to get the bread, they make their brioche in house every day and it’s soft and delicious.
