Twisted Italian is an Italian based restaurant that goes outside the scope of traditional Italian. While the restaurant's focus is primarily on traditional Italian food, it also goes where most traditional Italian restaurants do not, which make it a bit Twisted. Examples include a bit of Italian fusion such as the Italian Relleno which put an Italian spin on a Mexican classic. The restaurant also goes outside the scope of Italian with items such as homemade pierogis, another European classic which you are not likely to find in other Italian restaurants. The personality of the restaurant may be best described as a cross between a wine bar and a family restaurant. It would be considered upscale/casual.

November 11, 2018A good neighborhood Italian restaurant. We shared the strawberry goat cheese salad and a Hawaiian pizza. I'd give the salad a 5 as it was very good. I wasn't as pleased with the pizza and would give it a 3 as the crust seemed to be a bit burned and somewhat flavorless.

October 17, 2018My husband and I go there for the garlic Parmesan wings. Hands down the best ever. We’ve lived all over the Country from California to New York and been to many a restaurant in the process! Never have found any better!

September 10, 2018Been here at least 50 times. Just plain love this unpretentious lively little place. Too many favorite food items to list. Go discover your own. Brian, the owner, runs this excellent little gem and his crew does an efficient job. Feels like home now. I also love to eat at the small bar counter. Can’t keep me away.

July 7, 2018Walked into this place on my way to a different location and was glad I did. The food was delicious. I had the Relleno and raviolis and they were awesome. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

May 1, 2018I went here for the first time for a friend's birthday celebration. We were able to make a reservation for eleven of us because of the early hour (5 pm) and day of the week (Wednesday). The place is small. Seven of us arrived on time. One group arrived late - involved bad use of Google Maps and my driving over to rescue them. Sigh. Anyway, so we didn't really get set to START until 30 minutes past our reservation. Totally our fault, the staff handled it very well. Service was mostly great. Food was terrific. One thing they did I HATE. They brought the food to the table and then called out the item and up to us to figure out who ordered it. Sigh. I loved my lasagna. Except I ordered veggie lasagna and got regular. Yeah, I should have sent it back, but I was several bites in and, frankly, at that point, I just wanted to eat. Tiramisu, which we all shared, was WONDERFUL!A great evening!

April 17, 2018Mom and Pop Italian place with small bar, great wine list and excellent food. Service was good (Shane) and they do take reservations. My wife had Sorrentino-chicken and eggplant topped with Marsala on Angel hair pasta. I had Italian Relleno with fried ravioli which I will order again.Great experience.

April 5, 2018I ordered the garlic bread and mushroom ravioli but this time the mushroom was really good intense flavor especially when soaked up by the bread when I was done with the ravioli. The merlot wine went well with the dish and the staff was very attentive.

March 18, 2018The house signature soup is a chicken-mushroom that can't be beat. Salads are very fresh and good combinations of ingredients with options to add chicken or fish. My favorite entree to order is the Twisted Ravioli (with extra spinach). Awesome dish. Bread for the table is light and served warm. Lasagna is a king cut and could easily serve three people. Delicious lasagna, one of the best we've had. Good for taking home and freezing for the future. We eat at Twisted Italian several times a month. It's our go-to place for Italian dinners (the pizza is a little greasy in the middle).
