True Restaurant

My husband is from Maryland so I know what a good crab cake is supposed to taste like. This place is great! Anything with seafood is good and it's a seafood restaurant.

Crab cake perfection. These are legit Maryland crab cakes (I’m from northern Virginia) - this is the real deal, folks. Everything is made fresh and from scratch and every bite was fantastic. Loved that it was family owned too. Can’t wait to go back.

I came here during a lunch break at work and I LOVE this place. It's a little hidden away so you may have to park and walk to get here, but the service is fantastic and the atmosphere is friendly and cozy. I had the cream of crab soup and a crab cake slider, both of which were delicious. The soup especially and warm and filling, a perfect lunch.This is definitely the kind of place to bring your parents or your seafood loving friends. I truly cannot say it enough, this place is excellent and I will absolutely be back.

A True storefront restaurant. I have read about this restaurants for a while, so we decide to try it.Located in downtown Boca, it has maybe 8 tables. It is a Baltimore style restaurant, must like another Baltimore restaurant nearby Loch bar.Started with the Homesick Soup , a hearty Maryland style red crab soup with vegetables and Old Bay seasoning. Good but the broth is on the thin side.For entrees, we tried their True Crab Cake Platter, two Maryland crab cakes made with jumbo lump crab meat and seasoned with Old Bay. On the small side and they were good, not great. You get a choice of 2 sides, I choose the Cole Slaw and sweet potatoes mash. My wife had the Mac N cheese and Cole Slaw.Sorry we have better crab cakes recently at a number of local restaurants.

I went there for dinner and drinks. I enjoyed the food and selection of beers. The waitress, Rebecca, was amazing! She was very attentative and friendly. I'll definitely be coming back. She made just a regular night out, amazing.

Best resturant in Mizner. Wonderfully relaxing, food is always great and if you like Maryland style crab cakes and great shrimp with a very relaxing atmosphere this is your place. The happy hour is awesome great prices and great food. The owner Robin and staff are extremely friendly and my favorite resturant in Boca. If you like live Maryland crabs you will want to show up on a Saturday when they do live crabs with old bay. AWESOME!!!!!!

What a great little restaurant! Very cozy and friendly. And the food was fantastic! We had crab cakes and they were delicious. The green beans were fresh, not canned. And the pumpkin cheesecake was just amazing. We will definitely go back to True.
