The Fitzroy

Service was friendly, seating and atmosphere is loud and awkward. Not the place to go for relaxing or quiet meal. Hard to have a conversation when you're inches away from the stranger beside you. The fried chicken sandwich was massive and delicious but sides are not included. Appetizers are disappointing and the bar drink cocktails are hit or miss. Their old fashioned was really good. Great place to grab a seat at the bar.

Great food and an excellent atmosphere. The music was great and never obnoxiously loud. Prices were between 10-25 on the entrees and the quality was well worth it. Excellently poured drinks as well.

Went here after Citizen Burger Bar was a huge wait. So glad we did! Their crispy chicken sandwich is what I imagine Popeye's new prized sandwich might taste like if it ever comes available again. Yummy, and so much, I had for lunch next day. Hubby had the fried chicken, also yummy, and had for lunch next day because it was so much. Only downside was roasted corn salad. Nothing roasted about it and cold.

Popped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. They offer a $12 "business lunch" menu with a very healthy number of entree choices that can be paired with 1 of 6 (I think) sides. I ordered the shrimp po'boy with the kale ceasar salad and was very satisfied

Fantastic lunch spot on the mall. Lots of seats outside or by the patio. Chicken sandwich was amazing and the shrimp po boy looked scrumptious.

A crowded Friday night at The Fitzroy - noisy, but plenty of positive energy. The staff is hustling and doing a great job.We ordered the Fitzroy Burger and a Fried Chicken Platter. The chicken is great ... if you are on the fence, you won't regret ordering it. Try a side of the roasted corn salad - fabulous!

Great cocktails and really good food. I highly recommend the fried chicken sandwich--super crunchy while still moist...also the aioli has a delicious sneaky good heat that is perfect.

My bloody mary vodka drink was too weak and too spicy for $9. The portion sizes are too small for the cost. Service is fantastic. Very comfortable benches. Great atmosphere. Food is delicious.

The food here was great. I would highly recommend trying this place out, but maybe skipping the chicken sandwich which was more like two giant chicken strips on a bun. Our bartender stands out though as he generously made two amazing mocktails for my pregnant wife.

Best fried chicken and tiramisu I have ever had. Good cocktails. Mac and cheese was unimpressive. We will definitely be back.
