The Chiam Restaurant

This place has a fun bar. Several regulars are fun and funny. I only had appetizers but I was impressed with freshness of the shrimp and very light batter. The bbq'd pork was tender and tasty. Happy hour prices made the food cheaper then the well made well-drinks! If you don't care any fancy atmosphere this is the place to go. We are in the bar, great friendly service.

This place is a gem. I haven't experienced the bar yet but I hear it's the spot to be.

This is one of those classic family-owned Portland-metro area staples. I’ve been coming here for 25+ years, and even though they’ve changed locations since I was a kid, it still has that old-school vibe. The staff are so nice and everything is clean.Be sure to try the Cashew Chicken Kew Chow Mein, egg rolls, and bbq pork (with the extra-spicy hot mustard sauce on the side!). The steamed chicken with vegetables is also really good. It is by far the best Chinese-American restaurant in the area.

The best. Chiam is the best place. I drive an hour to eat there. Been going there for like 20+ years. Can't say enough about how good and fresh their food is.

Always fresh ingredients from local growers and made to order, it's a family owned business that we just love.

Old fashioned Cantonese-American food, comfort food for us. Prompt service, good portions, big menu at night and many options on lunch menu. Reasonably priced.

Always fast friendly service and the food is always fresh. Great food at a great price.

All the dishes we have ordered tasted good. However we had to wait for almost an hour till they bring the food. All the dishes had too much onion compared to the meat. Service was slow, but friendly atmosphere.
