The Blue Crab Restaurant and Oyster Bar

Love love love love our waiter Chris was the real deal great guy service was perfect and so was his attitude. We had forgotten our credit card and he ran out to come bring it to us as we were about to leave. Not many places do that. Also we got there 30 minutes before closing and they were cool about it didn't have us feeling rushed. The crabmeat was lump clean and delish well everything we ordered was. Great place

Had a great pre-game lunch today before our NOLA Blast volleyball tournament. Food was amazing!

With the weather being a little chilly on our first night in New Orleans we took a drive up to the lake and stopped at the blue claw Crab and give their seafood gumbo a try, it was great, the service was down-home and good I would highly recommend. Outside we look down the parking lot and saw this decorated boat ready for the Christmas holiday

Food was good, service could have been better a lot better. Brandi got off lucky with the the tip.

Happy Hour grilled oysters for $1. Been to a half dozen more restaurants for grilled, and still think these are the best. Bartenders are $.10s. I'm on a boat.

Food was terrible. Fried oysters were cold along with a cold biscuit. Shrimp and grits were terrible . Shrimp were way over cooked. Not good at all. I gave 1 star because the gumbo was pretty good.

No grilled catfish available, just fried; well okay - but what was presented seemed like frozen fish pre-breaded .Coleslaw was very very lackluster and strange tasting.$15 blue hot crab dip was quite cold.

This place was wonderful. It was packed today and they still got a table of four seated in less than 20 minutes. The food was exceptional as well. I had the blue crab platter. Everything was delicious and fresh. I will be back again soon.
