Same Same Thai is a fun, upbeat, energetic twist on Southern Thai cuisine. The place has a bright, warm, vibe that could also serve as a great place for a cocktail with an old friend. Friendly staff. Portions are appropriate but heir on the smaller side, but the snacks (Fries and Peanuts) are a fun add on. About $40 after tax for a dinner for two, no alcohol.

Same Same is AWESOME! Love the food, the drinks are delicious...you seriously can’t go wrong! The must haves are the pork belly, the drunken noodles and monkey business (drink).

What a gem! So quaint and welcoming on the inside and the food was a game changer! Had so much fun bringing my friends there and we loved everything. My friend went back three days later because he was sad he didn’t get to try the wings. He was happy he went back for them.

Best spicy Thai food I have had since moving to Chicago. Perfect level of heat mixed with sweetness and vibrant colors in all the dishes we had. Will return.

We ordered carry-out and we were very impressed! They were delayed but let me know right away and gave me the option to get a call once ready. Happy with the customer service. Ordered the spiced fries, Phat Thai and Phat Kee Moa, all great choices! We will be back for another night of carry-out and looking forward to dining in!

Had a great dinner here and a better time at Same Same. The Viet Style Wings were amazing. I was worried about the portion size with only 4 wings but by the end of the meal I was perfectly satisfied. The Mango Sticky Rice... Was dangerously good and a great way to cap off the experience. Highly recommend this amazing place that is very reasonably priced. Easily one of my favorite places in Chicago.
