The best part about going to a historic place is of course to know about its history. Though we don’t have a tour guide, we had an audio guide for 200 Baht which helped us understand the meaning of each building/temples. A must visit in Thailand. It is indeed “Grand”.

That's place is fantastic. U should use long shirt and formal shirt or t shirt. And maybe u must bring tripod. It would be helpful for you to taking photos. Don't take a photo IF there are any guard near you. Have a nice trip!

This place is always packed and the sheer number of crowds visiting definitely raise the overall temperature so get there early. Dress code is strictly enforced so have your elephant pants on standby (FYI only western tourists wear elephant pants). There's no need to stay all day, once you feel your done, just leave and don't feel bad about not seeing every corner of this place, there's lot more to see in the city.

Beautiful here. just amazing the work put into the structure. Huge crowds. Bring an umbrella or sun hat. Not many shady areas. Also, there is dress code no shoulders showing or ankles.

500 baht each does feel a bit more pricey than a lot of top national tier monuments / attractions & certainly compared to Siam Museum nearby but it's impossible to deny the scale & ... impressiveness of the Grand Palace.Hard to recommend missing unless it's not your type of venue.Expect big crowds. There's a cafe towards the exit that does much needed cold juices and teas.

As one of the most popular and must-see tourist attraction in Thailand, expect your visit to the Grand Palace to be jam-packed with fellow tourists. So don't forget to bring your patience, a water bottle, an umbrella (especially if you're gonna visit at noon), and of course, your pants! You won't be allowed to enter if you're wearing shorts and sleeveless shirts. Fortunately, there's a lot of clothing rental shops just outside the place. The entrance to the Grand Palace's whole establishment/grounds is actually free. However, if you want to go inside and see what the Palace has to offer, prepare to fork out 500 baht.As for me and my family, just seeing the actual architecture of the buildings is enough as it perfectly showed the Thai culture and grandeur. Enjoy the magnificent sights and take pictures! Be very patient though as there are also a lot of other people taking their own photographs.

We bought tickets online for 8.30 AM hoping to skip crowd but it seems to be there are crowds anytime and especially in the morning when all the groups from another Asian countries arrive non stop and there is no space to breathe. So maybe it is better to arrive later on in the afternoon. The palace is amazing, however, I would not come back. It's worth a visit once.

You have to visit The place. This place is very beautiful. The architecture is monumental. There are many areas for you to go and explore. The downside is quite crowded. You should go early in the morning, around 9am.Nearby is the market with a lot of food, clothes, souvenirs. However, I see Chinese people sell a lot. You should see in the tag if you want to buy Thailand things.

Breathtaking! What a great place! Heads up-no shorts! You can lean over the barricade outside of the entrance & buy some pull on pants for $3! Don’t buy them inside. There are some hidden a/c units in parts of the museums, they were welcome reliefs! There is a lot of ground to cover, so be ready to spend some time here.

Grand Palace is an imposing complex having great architecture which once was the abode of the Kings of Thailand and part of which has now been converted into a museum. In addition to this, the whole complex houses many architectural marvels and whole complex has numerous buildings, halls and gardens etc. The bonsai and other plants in the complex alongwith manicured lawns are simply marvellous. It was told that some buildings still hold the offices of the King and a few are used for ceremonial functions also
