A bit expensive for a dive shack. But the food was good.

The best seafood & onion rings. Got the french fries & burger (seafood allergy), delicious!! And they have wonderful sense of humor 😁 Has been around a long time & it shows!

I've been coming here since I was a toddler (I'm now over 30). I swear the food somehow gets better each time. The grilled cheese sandwich basket I had was something straight from a dream. Chicken fingers were a little too dry for my liking but still enjoyable.

An excellent hometown restaurant. The seafood is decent, considering it’s not on the coast. I like the fried whole belly clams. The lobster roll is excellent, loaded with lobster and served in a hot dog bun, as it should be!

Big whole belly clams, fries tasted excellent and not overdone! Tasted very fresh! Fabulous meal great price!

Spent $72 for food and everything was a mess. Forgot drinks. Had to go back for them. Both burgers were under cooked and red. We ordered well down. The lobster roll had a good amount of lobster but the roll was very soggy. The chicken tenders for the kids were fine but the fries were either under cooked or very over cooked. Mixed in together. My kids said the chocolate milk was watered down. It was when I tried a sip. Very disappointing. Never been here before and will not return.

The portion size was minimal. I remember when they had one of the best lobster rolls in the area.

I used to love the food at this restaurant 50 years ago when I was in my teens and twenties. It had great greasy summer food as people called it back in the day. In fact I used to work in similar establishments in the area such as the Double Decker which is no longer. Both places had similar food such as fried onion rings, clams, lobster rolls, scallops and other summer time treats.This time arrival at the Tamarack was disappointing in that the building itself was in a bad need of paint and looked rundown. Looking at the menu we discovered the prices seemed extremely high but we were ready to go for it anyway until my partner noticed an employee doing an unsanitary action and then going back to work. We left without ordering anything, I want to make that clear. I can't speak of the quality of the food but the general condition of the property and the action of the employee that we witnessed made it such that we had no interest in eating there. It was a great disappointment.

Delicious ice cream! Next time we'll eat lunch here, so many seafood options!We made a second visit for lunch, it was so good! I got the scallop roll and loved it. Can't beat the friendly service or their funny signs!
