Tabor Hill Cafe

So much to say...unlike anything I’ve seen. Historic and beautifully preserved/redone classic theatre. I saw the latest Star Wars there and was pleasantly surprised to find out you can eat and drink from the restaurant within the theatre! You don’t feel crowded and have a bar/table in between each row to put your food/drink.The attached bar/restaurant has the most accommodating and friendly staff!I’m thinking of going back so I can sit in the lower level of the theatre...I was late so grabbed a side balcony seat.

Best place in town to watch a film! Super cool old building, comfy seats, tasty beer, delicious full meals. What's not to love? Long lines for opening weekend of big movie releases, so come early for better seating choices.

Giving it 5 stars because I just love so much about this place! As a movie theater, this is a venue that allows the audience to be more "with" the story and with each other. It's really lovely! Plus the building is an experience in itself! I have encountered mostly wonderful employees who add to the whole experience. One critique I can offer as a current customer and former hostess and hotel front desk employee of another McMenamin's establishment (a billion years ago) is to make sure the person first greeting customers gives the impression they want to be there and want you to be there too. Oddly, I've had a couple of poor experiences with this. Overall, love the Bagdad!

Phenomenal bar. Cool atmosphere. Reasonable drinks. The high ceilings, catwalks, and tapestry provide and interesting atmosphere. Overall good vibe. Mellow on weekdays. Would forsure recommend

Some of McMenamins outlets are more of a restaurant than bar, others on larger properties have several venues worth taking in. Back Stage Bar, is a combination. There's a Cigar store, a restaurant, and a comfy bar with 9 foot pool tables, a shuffle board, and pin ball machines. Quite refreshing when so many other drinking places have the video lottery. Well decorated, low key, quirky, and still that "My Bar" feel. Locals in the area find it a decent place and it's a nice place for a nibble & sip on a date.

Nice place, would be even nicer if food orders were taken in your seat instead of having to stand in an extremely long line. Ive been in a few theaters where this was done. Otherwise, comfortable, funky and fun
