It's a testament to quality, friendliness, and great food that Sweet Basilico has been in business for 20 years in Estes Park. As a mostly tourist town, this restaurant attracts travelers and residents alike while many local restaurants come and go with each season. The food is amazing; try the tortellini! Surprisingly simple and delicious garlic bread, caprese salad on par with any restaurant and friendly, caring servers. The wine list is limited, but really quite good for what is best described as an affordable, but not too modest family restaurant. Highly recommended.

Service was pretty goodFood great. Hubby had Lasagna and rated it as between Olive Garden and Maggiano's. I had Chicken something which I adored for the fact it had more mushrooms and chicken than pasta...and maybe more artichoke hearts. The sauce was bright and went well with everything...just enough stringy mozzarella to tie it all together.

Visiting from Phoenix, stopped by not expecting too much given the location. I tried the TORTELLINI CREMA DE PESTO and it was amazing. One of my favorite pasta dishes I've ever had. The calamari is also pretty good.

First off the ambiance of the restaurant is wonderful. Lori, our waitress was friendly, attentive and did a great job. The wine is reasonably priced. We had the Calamari Frito appetizer which was fresh tasting, and had a perfect light breading fried to perfection. It was delicious. The Frutti di Mare had a nice seafood mix in a tasty sauce. The Veal con Asparagus had a good cream sauce and the asparagus had good flavor and texture. The only flaw was the veal ended up a bit on the tough side. We will come back, and we will bring friends. The restaurant filled up, so make those reservations!

Even in the winter, the dining room has a warm and sunny vibe. I was seated promptly for lunch, a solo romantic meal. The server seemed attentive at first. I ordered within a few minutes. The Caesar salad dressing was overly salty and the lettuce was way overdressed. The eggplant Parmesan had a nice texture, but the marinara sauce had almost no real flavor. I couldn’t taste any notes of garlic or spices whatsoever; only the overly sweet and watery tomato sauce. I had wished that the breading on the eggplant had been a bit crispier, so as not to be too soggy under the sauce. No such luck.My server didn’t check with me at all once the meal had been brought. No offer for dessert, or quality check. Such a shame, for a small place that was relatively quiet and not very busy.

Every time we come to Estes we have to eat at sweet basilico. Amazing Alfredo! Great spaghetti! The calamari wasn't as great as it was last time but that happens sometimes anywhere the cheese sticks and fried ravioli were perfect. Plus if your a bread person the dinner rolls are awesome. Skip the side salad. Scallops and shrimp delicious. 2 kids meals with drinks. Two lunch entrees with 1soda 1water. Appetizer combo and1side salad for under $55.00 before tip. Not bad at ah all.Don't miss this place.

Food was little better than average. Service good but slow. Forgot our salads.

Ate lunch here. Delicious! Minestrone soup made with fresh ingredients, gluten free crust pizza, mixed vegetables, & the very best meatballs ever tasted! Laura gave us great service. We ordered lasagna and a pizza to go for our anniversary dinner. I recommend this restaurant!
