Standish Cafe

Wanted to check this place out after Colossal Cafe closed down. Stopped by on a Tuesday around 9. Nice and quiet, just the way I like it. Still plenty of customers though. Had the biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon. It was phenomenal. 2 huge biscuits plenty of gravy and 2 perfectly prepared eggs. Everything was delicious. A great start to the morning.

It is like I died and went to Copenhagen! Best coffee and aebleskiver this side of the pond. I wept with joy! Fantastic open-face toasted sandwiches ("toasties"). Wait staff kind, responsive, and observant.

They have the best abelskivers I've had in years! Service is great with relaxed, homey atmosphere. Foragers omelet plate is substantial and oh so tasty ! Will definitely ne back to explore much more of the menu!

Love the Standish. The food is fresh and delicious, and the vibe is chill. Servers are friendly and attentive. One of my favs!

Brought 5 kids after hiking at Minnehaha Park. We were on a time crunch and they were super friendly and accommodating. Kids wolfed everything down! Big portions, so we split a burger and an omelette. Potatoes, homemade toast and blueberry jam were good! Definitely recommend!

OMG yum! Good food, friendly staff who genuinely seem to like working there, unpretentious, great service. Also, they have gluten free pancakes and toast and take food allergies/sensitivities seriously without making it seem like a big chore to find out the ingredients of a dish.

How can you not love this local gem. Their menu is broad and delicious and reasonable priced. The wait staff bends over backwards to make sure you have a great experience and great food. We came on a busy Sunday morning with 11 people (my family was visiting from out of town and they loved it) using their on-line wait-list and it worked beautifully. Thank you Standish!

Lovely staff and adorable interior. Very tasty food and beverage. You can get classic brunch or more updated twists on current favorites. Cozy small (but charming) space so get there early to find a good spot if you're going with multiple people.
