Ryan is super knowledgeable and the pricing is fair. Great spot to hunt for back issues and just chat about comics.

Went to the store after seeing them at Calgary Expo last week. Kicking myself for not discovering them sooner. Best shop in the city for back issues and keys. Ryan was working there at the time and he spent close to an hour with me chatting about comics, helping me find some books I was looking for, and suggesting some new stuff. He knew everything I threw at him and where to find it.Very impressed with the store, will definitely be returning.

The owner of this place is awesome! Such a down to earth nice guy. They have a variety of comics and press your books very well. Very friendly and easy to deal with.

The person I'm guessing was the owner didn't acknowledge me when I said hello or tried to make chit-chat. The person isn't obligated to do those things, of course, but I really hoped the era of "conceited comic book store owner" were dead. The store was empty aside from me.I don't think it's just "changing digital trends" that are ruining the industry, because the the "Comic Book Guy" persona that nobody asked for has been wildly active the whole time as well.I was going to give the store a two star review, but bumped it to three on the idea the stock is fine.

I have been going to Ultimate Key Issue Comics since they opened and have always had a good experience. This is a store for serious comic collectors as they have investment grade comics and a huge amount of back issues. The owner, Tony, has always made himself available to chat and has been very open & honest when discussing values and the proper grading of comics. Over the years I've visiting other shops that are predatory and often had the same attitude as "Comic Book Guy" from the Simpsons - this is not what I've found here. I would recommend stopping by.
