The word on the street is that Samos has the best souvlaki in Greektown. I first started dining there in 1988. They have enlarged since then and added some great new menu items. What hasn't changed is fresh delicious food and good service. Everything I have eaten there is delicious. The portions are ample and the flavors are fantastic. Although I now live hours away I stop in when I'm in Baltimore and have lunch or dinner.

Rated Best Greek food in Baltimore for 14 of the last 17 years, Samos is a mediterranean-food lovers dream come true. Great portion sizes, delectable food, friendly servers, and a cozy (cash-only) atmosphere. Make sure that you order a platter, and ask them to upsize your salad for an additional $2. That turns it into 2 meals, minimum! Be prepared to take home some leftovers! Oh, the salad dressing... You'll buy a bottle of that to take home with you, too! Cash only, ATM on site (charges $1.50 fee which is VERY reasonable!) BYOB. Parking is generally available on Ponca or Fleet if Oldham is crowded.

First time diners on a Tuesday night. Casual and quaint atmosphere. Friendly and competent staff. The greek salad (specifically dressing) is indescribably delicious; perfectly grilled seafood, warm pita. BYOB is super reasonable. Deserves all its accolades

This is my favorite restaurant in the City for Greek cuisine. The gyro platter is also a go to for me. It is a good amount of food and is always extremely high quality and delicious. I highly recommend Samos to anyone looking for a good Greek food experience.
