September 23, 2019Hot pot is perfect for cold weather. The meat and vegetables are fresh. The Mar La broth is very spicy but the chicken broth is tasty. They offer a lot of tpye of sauce that you can make you own sauce and it cost extra $2 per person. Staff is average

February 6, 2019Hot pot is a fun addition to the Fairbanks dining scene. The novelty of boiling your own soup in front of your eyes will get you in the door, but you’ll be back for the delicious and healthy ingredients, the responsive service and the clean bathrooms. Unassumingly located across from the movie theatre next to a pawn shop in the former Burger King building and a hot tub store. Fun to hear so much Mandarin spoken in Fairbanks, the fact that this place is so popular with tourists from China speaks to its quality. The sauce bar is what makes the hot pot exceptional. Great way to warm up on a cold day!

February 26, 2018Our group was blown away by the service here. The food was fantastic, the prices were reasonable, and every server we met went way out of their way to be friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone. Definitely try out the hot pot and the sauce bar!

September 3, 2016I had been looking for a good Chinese restaurant since I moved here and hadn't found one worth trying. I thought this place would be great because they offer a regular Chinese menu in addition to the hot pot. My husband choose the hot pot with spicy broth and beef which he said was ok but I ordered chicken with mixed vegetables and oh my I had my eyes roll in my head the sauce was rich and beautiful I actually got more chicken than vegetables which is rare when eating Chinese food the plate was so big I took half of it home. I also had hot and sour soup which was amazing. I have been all over the country and some of the best in San Francisco and it was comparable easily
