Pioneer Diner

Food was cheap, fast, big, and really tasty. Servers polite and attentive. What more could you ask for?

My family and I stopped here for lunch and wasn't disappointed. The chicken noodle soup was freshly made, not from a can, and my grilled chicken cordon bleau sandwich was delicious. My son devoured his fried chicken meal which filled his plate. My daughter loved her bacon burger with what looked like a thick slab of crispy bacon. My wife had the huge chef's salad. The restaurant was clean and bright, and the waitress was most attentive and cheerful.The bill was very reasonable. I noticed that they serve up some freshly baked Greek pastries that looked tasty. My children enjoyed the huge slices of fresh baked brownies with chocolate frosting. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My family enjoyed their breakfast. We were seated quickly and the food came out within 10 minutes of placing our order. The French toast was delicious! I had my regular western omelette with home fries and toast which was good. If we are in this area again- we will definitely visit Pioneer Diner again.

The food was really good. I ordered French toast, bacon and home fries. The French toast was to die for. It reminds me of Bob Evans restaurant French toast. The bacon was good. Eileen was my server. She was really nice and attentive. This is the only place that I will eat while I'm visiting the Poconos. Very nice atmosphere. Food came out quick. I will definitely recommend this place. Thanks for a wonderful experience Eileen.
