Everyone's favorite French restaurant around the town. Amazing escargot, patê, duck, calf's liver, and basically everything. Service is perfect -- Waitress is very nice yet not too overbearing like some American restaurants. They know their wines -- definitely ask for recommendations on wine that pairs. Very busy everyday dinner time, make sure to reserve.

We were there last evening to celebrate our birthdays. The wonderful woman at the front helped us find a place to park (the garage on their website was full) and let me sit at our table while I waited. We began with complimentary champagne for our birthdays. I had delicious (one of the very best) onion soup and then the duck magret. The duck was a bit underdone for me but was quickly redone. That lovely lady from the front even came over to make sure I was happy. My husband had a delicious salad and since it was a Wednesday, he was delighted with the sweetbreads.Feeling overfed, my husband just ordered coffee. To our utter delight, a chocolate mousse arrived with a candle. We managed to devour it.The restaurant reminded us of being in Paris. A neighborhood bistro. If only we lived in this neighborhood..

We went here to celebrate a birthday. It's a small restaurant mostly with tables for two, but also a couple of tables for big groups. Nice and elegant atmosphere. However the staff is very nice, friendly and absolutely not snobbish, especially the French guy that served us. Food was really good. We tried different dishes. Salmon, escargot, fried frogs, duck. Everything good. Only the frogs weren't crispy enough and I was expecting better

We loved our meal at Ma Maison. The romantic atmosphere combined with the delicious French food made for an excellent experience. I had the beef bourgninon and my partner had a soup and salad. Both were great. My beef was so tender and flavorful that I would gladly order it again. The wine was very good as well. We finished everything off with creme brulee that was rich but not too rich. While pricey, I feel that Ma Maison is a great place to have an intimate meal in Boston.

Beautiful place for a romantic evening.. nice ambience..can be a little noisy (probably depends on the crowd that day. So make sure you get a table away from the center).. should definitely try the veal chop (its amazing)
