Very good Japanese food served in tapas style. There's always a waiting time, but it's worst waiting. Service is friendly and fast. I'll come back

They don't take reservations but you can sign up on their wait list from Yelp. Expect a very long wait. On a weekend on opening time at 5:30PM, when we checked it gave us an estimate of 7:45PM. Street parking can be challenging but doable if you're willing to walk a few blocks. But if you can put up with the wait, you're in for a treat. The restaurant is not that big, can can only seat about 35 to 40 people (one restroom stall). Without a doubt, the food here is fresh. Their fish collar is not what you expect.. it is HUGE and can easily be shared between 6 to 10 people. Grill Octopus was excellent. The Wagyu Carpaccio was strange as we had two orders but both order the Wagyu have different colors and texture. Excellent varieties of Saki.Service was a bit unique as this is one of the place I can recall that impose a per person service charge for cutting a birthday cake. Also there's a small surcharge for credit card usage.

Come early to sign up for the wait list! (Unless you make reservations) the list fills up quick and this place isn't a large space so you could be waiting for a really long time outside. They don't take your number to call you when your turn is next so stay around the area. The food is delicious! Enjoyed the selection they got. Everything we tried was great.

I wanted to like this place because the servers were really nice, but the majority of the food was just mediocre. Not surprising considering they have over 60 dishes to choose from. Really the only good dish was the salmon collar and it was a daily special. They also force you to buy at least $40 worth of food if you make a reservation, which is an... interesting policy.

Exquisite! So delicious! Those of you seeking flavorful flavors, mmmm mmmm mmmm! This place is paradise! Although, the options are quite pricey for small portions. Spent $380 dollars on food for 6 people. Some would conside that alot.

This restaurant is my number one site. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this place. everytime I I need a good dinner, this is the place that comes immediately to my head. splendid and all kinds of food and a rich menu.great staff members, and nice atmosphere. Also important, the bill is reasonable. I suggest this restaurant with no hesitation.

Make sure you make reservations a day before, as it's not a big place and there's a line up. The earlier the better, so you don't have to wait as long. The food is amazing and definitely worth the wait.

Came to Kiraku for a fancy birthday dinner and was not disappointed. Note that this is a kind of Japanese tapas place, and dishes are absolutely tiny. If you don't pay attention, the bill can add up very quickly. Everything I had was very tasty, the food really is superb! The waitresses are very knowledgeable about the menu and we got a lot of good recommendations.

Yes yes yes yes and yes. I am a sap for sushi but this place is actually a great spot to dine. The price point is higher but it's very much worth it. The food and ambiance has a very authentic Japanese feel, I highly recommend this place.
