Noboru Japanese Restaurant

Small, cozy, hole in the wall, but the food is good and beer is cold. Can't go wrong with Teishoku. Mango cheesecake is delicious, but such a tiny piece. Fried ice cream is smothered in whipped cream. Seem to always order mixed tempura here. Night manager Carlton is a hard worker! This is our go-to Japanese restaurant for sure. Sushi chef is in main section of restaurant.

It reminded me of the mom & pop type restaurants I visited in Japan. From the greeting when you entered, the decor, and the welcoming feeling you get from the staff. The food was really good and they had a decent selection of different Japanese cuisine & libations. Be warned though very pricey for simple & small, but tasty dishes.

Long wait times for food to arrive depending on staff. Small language barrier but altogether manageable. Decent food but cost is too high for the quality. Beer on tap is good.

Noboru? More like NOBOdy should eat here. My boyfriend and I we’re looking forward to eating here, but we’re ultimately shook and disappointed. For starters, everything took forever. Our drinks, our foods, the fastest thing that arrived was our check! We kept saying that our food better be with it considering how long we waited, but it wasn’t! We ordered the chicken karaage for an appetizer (something we don’t recommend by the way) and a few pieces were cold in the middle. Perfect example of how restaurants freeze their food. The chicken must be consistently bad here because my boyfriend ordered the chicken teriyaki and for $17 you get a small portion of fatty, flavorless chicken. To top it all off, they can’t make rice to save their life. That was the most offensive and appalling excuse for Japanese food I’ve ever experienced. To say that we will never eat there again is an understatement.#savepalilanes

Sake served not cold, sushi served without soy sauce, service was bad. Food quality meh, probably same level as boxed sushi.

Delicious sake & sushi rolls!

Good sushi, nigiri, sashimi, Japanese dishes.

Got take out with 3 rolls and the tuna was bad and I threw half of it out. I’m not a picky eater at all either.
