New Capital Seafood Restaurant

I've been coming here for over 15yrs for dim sum. I won't be returning. Today is Chinese New Year's Eve and I placed a phone order in anticipation that New Capital would be extremely crowded. When I arrived 15mins after placing my order, it wasn't crowded. I gave the hostess my number and she looked at only one box before declaring mine wasn't ready. I waited for about 15 more minutes and asked about my order. The hostess once again tells me it's not ready. Let's check again. Oh there it is. The only order that hasn't been picked up. I feel the box and it's cold. I didn't order any cold dishes. It's so frustrating to place an order, arrive within the allotted time to pick up, asked to wait while person after person is helped and my order gets cold as a result. There's at least 50 other restaurants that serve dim sum in Hacienda that would be worth checking out rather than wasting your time here.

Service is excellent even though half of the employees don't speak English they already know what you want. You would need to get here early Saturday and Sundays for lunch otherwise you'll be waiting for hours. And there's a reason why people are waiting for hours because the food here unbelievable.

Insane amounts of dim sum floating by on carts. Came here for a celebration. Super crowded. because the dim sum is really good. Decent prices but it’s easy to let the bill soar when you want to try everything they roll past your table.

Friendly and quick service, but the food was not very good. Tasted like it had been made hours before and one of the servers even asked us if we'd like to have one of the dishes we ordered reheated. Seeing that all the fish in the tanks out front were dead wasn't very reassuring either.

Service is quick and staff is friendly. It's good for money kind of place. Food is fresh and tasty. They have variety of selections. Better to go in large groups to try their food!

Dim Sum is great, however, the service provided by the waiters is terrible. They are rude and inefficient. You have to be very aggressive to get the proper help.

Delicious dim sum. Worth the hour wait on the Sunday afternoon when we made our way up to Rowland Heights to enjoy it. There was a huge crowd of people waiting, but they were great about handing out numbers, getting everyone seated as quickly as possible, getting us whatever we wanted, and allowing us to enjoy our meal. The carts rotated by frequently and the wait staff was happy to quickly refill our tea pot as often as we asked. Every single thing we chose to eat was full of flavor, warm and fresh, and very satisfying.

Love their lobster dish. I would prefer that the waiters were nicer.

Good food, there was this one waiter who looked at us like if she had a problem. Restroom is dirty but overall this restaurant would be better if they did a little fixing.

Very nice place for Guangdong breakfast. Really enjoy the food and the environment here. Will definitely come next time.
