One of the old classic fish and chip eateries on the White Rock beach. The food and service were good but the patio seating was pretty tight.

This is White Rock, home of "Fish and Chips" by the sea. Out of literally dozens of fish and chip shops here I don't think you could do better. Fast, hot, and really good and well priced. You won't be disappointed.

This is a nice little place that would have a pretty great view if you went during the day in the summer, unlike me. The service was great and the prices seemed pretty reasonable, but I just wan't a fan of their batter on the fish n' chips. However, their tartar sauce, which usually I don't like at all, was very good.

Great clam chowder soup. Coleslaw amazing. Fish great. You get a free piece of fish with every order.

Only fish and chips worth the calories. Lol... fresh fish, great portions, well executed consistently. Good job!

They advertise best fish and chips and are not kidding. Light coating and the cod inside tastes buttery. You don't get weighed down by the breading. Chips are crisp and no grease. Nice crunch. And watch each order I comes with more fish than you order! Several beers but all bottled. Some wine and spirits. And what really adds to it is just reading the walls! There's a lot in the building besides fish! Outdoor seating available.

Visiting the area on a weekday and had googled some restaurants. Most seemed overpriced so decided to try Coney Island Fish and Chips next door to Moby Dick. However, Moby Dick opens 1/2hr earlier and after talking to another couple waiting for it to open, giving it high praise, we switched up. Nice, clean restaurant with good amount of seating. Server brought us menus and water right away and then our order. Menu stated all fish/fish and chips entrees come with a complimentary piece of fish so we shared a 2(+1)pce.with chips-$19.45 and a small onion rings- $5.35, which is really more like a medium size. Good size pieces of fish, batter is light and not greasy. Chips were perfectly cooked and lots. Onion rings, same. Generous with the tartar sauce.Price reflects the "complimentary" piece of fish but don't mean that as a negative. Recommend as they deliver in every way and service is friendly. They have been in business for so long for good reason it appears.

A good, solid, fish-and-chip restaurant. The portion sizes were great (the 1 piece was plenty for me, as each option comes with a bonus piece), the restaurant was clean with some cool signage decor, and the staff were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. I’ll be honest - it wasn’t the best fish I’ve ever had but I’m a fussy English person and it was still pretty darn good.

A cozy restaurant to eat fish and chips on the beachfront of White Rock. Their portions are large.
