September 15, 2018The service here was extremely slow and the food was very salty. The salmon's color was pale pink and the texture was a little tough to chew. The menus were written in handwriting and was not easily legible as opposed to typed menus. The water cups smelled funny, but the water itself was fine. Overall, not the type of place I want to revisit or recommend to my friends.

May 12, 2018So Good! We went there with new friends of the owners, a mother-daughter team. Mom cooks, Daughter runs the front (and lots more, including dishes!). Both were Very attentive and friendly, introducing us to great flavors and specific details of specials on the Very Creative menu and dishes. Creative flavors, creative playing made all the vegan/vegetarian food visually provocative. The Very fresh, Organic-ish (R) food looked, smelled and tasted great. We’ll definitely go back and take more friends!

March 6, 2018Excellent, excellent food! Well worth the fare. This is the first organic restaurant we've discovered on the SF Peninsula. Thank goodness it's good! Please go there on a day you can and do choose to avoid any fragrance on yourself and on your clothes. Both the waitress and the chef are extremely sensitive/allergic to fragrances of any kind. Respecting this will allow them to enjoy serving you as much as you'll enjoy them and their food.

February 10, 2018Amazing atmosphere and food— the highest quality. Lovingly made meals and enjoyable wait-staff. Please do not wear any fragrances though, as the waitress is allergic. But she’s super friendly and fun to talk to. Very knowledgeable about food allergies and recipes.

November 14, 2017The eggplant tempura is phenomenal. The chicken katsu curry was also delicious. Place was more expensive than I envisioned, but the food is really homely, delicious, well prepared and top notch.

November 3, 2017A charming unassuming eatery located at the street corner. Street parking only, but usually not too busy. The decor is very homey, somewhat like being in someone's living room. The menus were handwritten sheets in plain binders. There were many signs warning against wearing of scent. We were served by the chef Minako's daughter who treated us like a friend.Waiting for the food took quite a bit of time as the kitchen was open and we could see it was only Minako doing all the cooking. The food was tasty and refreshing. Some of the flavors differ drastically from what I usually associate with restaurant Japanese food, such as the decades old pickled vegetables. We also ordered two of the dinner sets, which came with simple but fresh dishes of vegetable soup, grilled fish, teriyaki fried tofu, and tender chicken. However, the quantity is drastically small for the price.A good experience, but I don't think I would want to pay for it again.
