Mijares Mexican Restaurant

For many, many years this has been my family's favorite place for Mexican takeout in when visiting Mom in Pasadena. It's very pleasant to eat in, as well, but it's just our habit to sit down at home. They treat us great, and the food is reliably delicious.

A childhood favorite. As good as I remembered Great salsa, great chile verde. Go to the original location if you want hard alcohol. Come here if you just want the great food and quick service

Food is okay.. beer and wine license only. They have interesting wine'rita's. Was a bit ti pricey for me for not having a bar.. get smashed at 1881 club then head here.

This place is an institution in Pasadena. Great food at reasonable prices.
