Honestly, y’all are sleeping on El Potro. So much better than Mezcal. Mezcal always serves me cold food, and my drinks are flat. But the absolute GOAT that is El Potro always gives me hot food and speedy service. Like every time I go to El Potro, I get my food in 10 minutes or less. They are so fast. The hosts/servers are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. In the entire state of Fl, i’d sooner eat at El Potro then ever step foot in a Mezcal or Casa Maria again. To be honest, i wish i could give this negative stars. Go to El Potro as soon as you can!

The chimichangas are full of quality pulled chicken. The flavor is good. Beans and rice are tasty too.

We just had a Duolingo Spanish event there and the waiters were fabulous. The food was scrumptious, as was the Sangria. Had a great time.

Decent lunch spot, modestly priced. The Speedy with rice and chicken enchilada is a go to choice. The lunch size shrimp fajita is another good option.

Friendly. Good food. Massive menu. And cheap drinks.This is a locals best kept secret next to the Beach Diner (everyone already knows about the palm valley fish camp). It's a bit hard to find so I put up a few photos of where it is in the shopping center. There's always plenty of seating (I think in all the time I have been coming here I have only waited once for about five minutes). They are good with large parties too as they have two side rooms for large groups. The prices are very good and are sweetened with good daily deals. The margaritas are very cheap and extremely tasty. I could go on and on about all the different items in the menu as it's huge and a little overwhelming even for someone who's been there before. I would suggest going with the steak whenever choosing a protein filler (ie for the Burrito Loco... my personal favorite). You can't go wrong with this place, great eats at a great price.
