Not authentic Sichuan food. Everything too sweet for my taste. Price is good considering this is NY.

Amazing mapo tofu. Food was gread and service was fast. The heat from the spices build up so be sure you can handle it.

Great Szechuan in the city. Staple dishes include the DAN DAN NOODLES, OX TONGUE AND TRIPE appetizer, CHONGQING SPICY CHICKEN as a main, and SAUTEED STRING BEANS. The quality varies from great to best Chinese in the city, but it's always far above average.

Often crowded at lunch but quick turnover times. This place is super legit and very wallet friendly

Hidden Gem! Seriously authentic chinese food. I come here all the time. Don't expect a romantic setting though - more 'diner' style on the inside and fairly bright inside. Still, the food speaks for itself. An extensive menu that allows the adventurous to find something new, but also has the standards you're used to. Prices are fair, staff is friendly enough and basically leave you alone. Portions are hearty and I just can't say enough about the food. Great place for a 'different' sorta date, and great for groups.
