Koto Japanese Restaurant

This is probably the best restaurant I have ever been too. And it’s definitely my favorite. When you walk inside you are instantly greeted by the friendly staff. You get free soup and salad. The salad dressing is VERY good! I bought like four containers of it. The actual entree is very delicious too. They put an exceptional sauce on the noodles. Also the rice is perfectly made. Other than the food, the entertainment is outstanding. The chefs are always keeping everyone satisfied and smiling. Overall, I would definitely recommend you go here.

Fun and inviting chef. Meats were tender and cooked to perfection. Very accommodating to vegan and meat lovers alike.

Dined here last evening, my first time since it had been Shogun under previous management. I was very impressed. Lovely decor. Staff is very friendly and our waitress was great. Our hibachi chef was also a lot of fun, kind, accommodating, and entertaining. I loved the miso soup, too. I and other diners commented that we wish their noodles were a bit thicker (as these were more like capellini). Also, the portions are noticeably smaller (which I is really fine, I'm just used to having a full meal to take home with me). Pricing is comparable to other hibachi restaurants in the area. I wish Koto much success!

Date night with my favorite guy. Arrived at 9p on Friday so the place was only about half full. We were seated immediately at a hibachi table with 2 other couples. Our server was great. The chef cooked the food well enough (my steak was perfectly medium rare but my chicken was over done); his tricks needed more practice but his aim with the sake bomb was right on! Yum! He was a bit stiff and tho he knew the script, I think that was all the English he knew. I asked him a couple of questions to get him engaged and he just looked at me blankly. My only complaint is that the sauces weren't what I was expecting; the ginger sauce was bland and watery and instead of mustard sauce they serve yum-yum sauce. I was disappointed. That said, my 12 year old date enjoyed the entire experience and I did enjoy the meal as a whole. We had a great time and will go again!

I love this place ! We come for all types of occasions $$$ .. the sushi is always fresh and hibachi cooks are lively and entertaining. The only downside is everything in the beginning seems to come too fast (if that makes sense).. the food is excellent but i rather soup, then salad, then the appetizer Etc ...not evething at once... but AGAIN the food was really great.. the salad was fresh & the dressing was SOO GOOD one of my favorite things about Koto is that house salad dressing & "freshness" (just wish i had a little more time to enjoy all of it) you always have left overs... they just seem to always be busy ..I guess you can't let people sit & eat too long. 👍👍👍👍👍❤❤❤❤❤

Koto is the BEST Restaurant for hibachi! Their food is always amazing and the entire staff is so kind. We travel 40 minutes to come eat here and it’s worth it every time!
