Kawamoto is very reasonably priced for bento lunches and ala carte, and has amazing tempura green beans and cone sushi!

Oh my home food! My mouth waters just looking at the pictures. Kawamoto's okazuya was the staple on Sunday mornings... bentos for lunch at the beach.

Good food, good prices. Never had Okazuya on Oahu but will have to try after Kawamoto. I reccomend the fried chicken and shoyu pork. Hard to go wrong with any of the food they sell, though.

This little okazuya shop!! Is amazing! A jewel in our old town of hilo! One of the last shops of it's kind. Where u can build a custom made bento !! Mahalo for serving our community!!!

Go early as they tend to run out of the good stuff. One of the classic original okazu-yas that still has the box lunches.
