Idler Restaurant

We always love to stop here on our trip to South Haven. Good food, reasonable prices, and great staff. Only wish their nachos were served more like the ones at their sister restaurant, Tap House in Portage.

Better of visiting the south haven brewhouse located next door. Views are good, food was boring. Prices higher than expected.

4 stars if the toilets were clean. BusyBar on the boat top deck. Bar man mixing South Haven ice teas vigorously. Tipsy ladys after two cocktails in the sun needing support off the ship. Lots to see. Food tool a while but our waiter warned in advance. Nice memory!

Good food and drinks, friendly service. The view was amazing as was the poo-yie and salmon.

Food was great, atmosphere very comfortable. We got the whole inside state room to ourselves. Feeling the boat rock as we sipped drinks was a cool effect.

Great drinks and views of the surrounding marina and river. The red sangria was served with a fresh slice of lime, lemon, and orange and mixed well. The gumbo is great, just a bit spicy for my taste, will definitely be back.

Food was great! Sam was friendly and gave us his favorites on the menu. VERY SLOW!!! Funky Cold Medina was Fantastic.Took forever to get our food. Glad we weren’t ‘hangry’. Beautiful sunset river and marina view. Don’t bring your kids. Ours would be going nuts.

Best place to hang out among the near by places in south heaven especially with your girlfriend. I have been to that place at the Valentine’s Day. My girlfriend like it but the direction are not very clear. It took us some time to figure out where the restaurant is. I would suggest the management to make the directions signs clear and appropriate
