Gourmet Shop Cafe

You'll be back for the food (Brunch is just right) and all of the other gourmet delights hidden around the retail half of the store. The Bloody Mary gets high marks for using SC ingredients and adding a dash of creativity with the garnish. Service is friendly and fast. Indoor and outdoor [in the shade all morning] seating. Ample parking nearby. Sunday brunch gets crowded so plan to shop their well curated wine selection or looking for those hard to find containers of french duck fat. A friendly delightful place to visit many times.

Stopped here unplanned on a sunday for lunch. It was super busy, but we're we're sat very quickly. The food was great and it was a fun place to walk around afterwards. Great selection of cheeses, wine, and even a walk in humidor with a few brands of cigars.

Really good food, and the store is fun to walk around and puruse. The staff is very friendly and very attentive. I would highly recommend the chicken salad or the French Club. The only thing to keep in mind that it is on the pricey side, especially the things in the market, but whatever you do get will taste fantastic.

Very lovely restaurant! Great soup and sandwich options.The service was impeccable. Their wine selection is astounding 🍷!I can't say enough good things about this place. I will be back again soon.

This was my first time eating brunch here. Definitely loved our server and this breakfast panini. Also the grits were amazing!

Love the egg salad and roast beef on a croissant. The ambiance is fun.

We drive from Lexington for the best chicken salad known to man! We also enjoy sitting outside and the bohemian type atmosphere.

Wonderful place to shop & eat! Local items as well. We tasted some great cheeses. The chicken salad is to die for! It was very crowded on a Sunday afternoon. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Will make this a regular stop!

It's been over a Year since I've been here. I used to come for lunch All the time. Not one moment missed... it was like seeing and visiting a Best Friend! Atmosphere was just the Same, My Server has been there almost 10yrs and I Recognized Her, and my go to for my Lunch was how I always remembered it!! AMAZING!! LOVE IT!!
