This is a real Roadhouse, more Bar than Restaurant. With it comes the usual bar crowd that keeps the place in business on the typical weekday evening. The restaurant side is rarely busy on those evenings, and the food is quite good if a bit pricey for the atmosphere (Burgers about $10). The upside is that the beer can be cheap if you choose from the specials of the day.

This was my second time here. Both times were great. My first visit was for brunch on Mothers day before hitting up the swap meet down the street with mom-in-law. Great breakfast sando. Simple and well done. Second time we missed breakfast by 10 minutes so I had to settle for lunch. Glad I did. Perfectly grilled chicken sando! Chicken tasted fresh, not frozen. Nice soft bun, perfect fresh veggies (lettuce /tomato)It was the sandwich I didnt know I needed to get through a rough morning. Hair of the dog bloody mary went perfectly. Great place, I'm sure I'll be back again. Mumsy loves it. Oh yeah, staff was top tier both times. Locals in there , so dont make a scene.
