Erminia, opened in 1982, is New York City’s most romantic restaurant. Obtaining some of the Zagat Survey’s most highly rated scores for food, service and décor each year, the Roman influenced Italian food is second to none on the Upper East Side. Forbes Magazine twice selected Erminia as its number one Top Pick for food. Most diners agree that the original concoctions prepared here will win the hearts of all those who come to experience the fare. The Swiss Alps cabin-like atmosphere accents the rustic feel at Erminia.

April 20, 2018This is undoubtedly the most romantic restaurant in New York City. The service is top-notch, the food and wine are excellent and the atmosphere is cozy and intimate. An absolute gem of the upper east side!

August 13, 2017This place is absolutely phenomenal but you must reserve early! The food is spectacular, service is top notch, and a great wine list. The room is small and dark, maybe 10 tables? If you're lucky, you may even see a celebrity or two like I did!

August 15, 2016One of the best meals I have ever had. Ever. The service was amazing. I look forward to coming back. Every aspect was a pleasure. Every bite was a treat.

February 10, 2016Excellent place for dinner or a date. Dark, cozy, quiet, good food and the best Tiramisu in NYC! They also had whole grain spaghetti, which I tried and liked a lot. It will be better if make a reservation, as the place has limited seating.
