El Gran Charro

Our favorite mexican food. The white dip (served with chips) is amazing! Kids choices as well. We love the drink offers and enchiladas.

I had excellent service from our waiter! Unfortunately, the host did not inform our waiter that it was our anniversary. I may change my review if they provide better overall service in the future

The food was decent. However, the biggest reason the score took a hit was because of the service. It took about l almost 30 minutes to get out checks - after we had waited another 15+ minutes for our waiter to come back to even ask for the checks. Granted, it was a table of 10-11 people, however I feel as though for the majority of the time spent there was waiting on service. We had to ask for drink refills and chips at least twice. I can understand we were a large group, but for the first half of us being there, we were of three tables. Maybe it is better with less people or on a night with more staff. Either way, not a top choice of mine to go out to eat at.

The food was good. I got the grilled steak taco salad. The decor was very authentic. All of the tables had a piece of leather with their emblem sewn into it. It was all made in Mexico per the tag. My server was a little hard to understand but he was very nice. Food came out super fast even though they were somewhat busy.

The food here is very tasty. I've yet to have a bad meal here. The cleanliness could be better, but the food is delicious. I do highly recommend the churo ice cream bowl for dessert, it's absolutely amazing!

Fajita nachos were the bomb! Margarita was excellent and the pils beer advertised in the bano was excellent!

Great place with good eats and drinks. Went here on a Thursday night. The place and parking lot was packed. They have a pretty decent sized menu. I ordered the vegetable quesadillas. They were packed with grilled vegetables and cheese. I was pleasantly surprised they did not skimp on the vegetables. I wish they had served it with don guacamole though. Also had the margarita which was very watered down. I would return here again for food.

The atmosphere was great. They have an outdoor patio area with an outdoor bar. There were a bunch of items on the menu. My wife and I ordered the enchilada trio which had one of each a cheese, steak, and chicken enchilada each with a different sauce on top. The rice had great flavor, but was a little over done for my liking. My sister in law had the fajita burrito, which was huge. 45 bucks plus tip for 3 adults to have lunch and a beer isn't bad at all. Service was pretty good, food came out quickly, and the place was clean! I would recommend and will be stopping in more often to check out the lunch specials! Definitely order the queso dip to go with your chips and salsa, you can thank me later!

Best Mexican in Stafford! A total 5 stars when it comes to the taste AND pricing of food/drinks. My family has been going here for a few years so I'm super late on this review but during these COVID-19 times we were SO HAPPY to hear that they were open for take out and curbside pick up! My favorite part is the margaritas to go! So smart for their business. I hope they continue to deliver excellent quality service/food! Thank you so much!
