Dew Drop Inn Restaurant

It's very similar to the food from the Varsity in Atlanta. Tastes really good, but probably not some place you'd go very often. Place was clean and the service was excellent.

A must try if you've got some time in Mobile. Best known locally for their got dogs and hamburgers. People tell me the daily specials are good, but I always go with a chili dog, a chili-cheese burger, and the half-and-half onion rings and fries.

Good hot dog and fast service! The Jalapeno red pepper cheese curds were awesome with ranch! I will come back for sure!

Simply the best hot dog, onion rings & mug of cold draft beer available anywhere, & served in one of Mobile’s oldest, midtown restaurant settings. It’s a favorite of Mobile locals, just ask Jimmy Buffet!

When I go home to Mobile I really have to go back to my favorite place where my Mother took me as a child. They have anything from a Bamberger to a drop your teeth over Crab Omelet. This omelet is so good the crab is fresh and it is never over done. The service is quick and very helpful. It must be good because they are always pretty busy but they have it together were you never have to wait for long. The hamburgers are just as wonderful. A really great place for you to start a tradition.

It was my idea to go back the 2nd time, hoping for improvement, because i like their chicken salad sandwich and onion rings. My husband and father-in-law did not get what they ordered (large deluxe hamburger w/fries) instead they got what looked like a plain child’s hamburger, no fries. When told about it, the waitress got an attitude and blamed it on them, said they got what they ordered. (she was ugly about it) The bill was wrong it had a $13 chicken platter added to it, which we didn’t order and didn’t receive! She blamed it on the cash register said “it just does that.” Didn’t give an apology, or try to make it right, only justified herself. We paid the bill and left very upset & disappointed ! It just isn’t right to be treated that way!!!
