Danang Tourane Vietnamese Restaurant

This restaurant never fails to impress. Whether we order to go and pick up, order through DoorDash or come in to eat. The wait staff is always prompt and courteous. The food hits the spot every single time. I never appreciated Pho until I had it here.

It's not very often you get to use words like an exceptional or phenomenal but this place fits the ticket. From beginning to end it was an outstanding experience. First of all the service was spot-on, polite, patient, and informative. If you go there for soup you will see differences between this place and other restaurants. I will definitely be back again and often

We've been here twice and both times didn't disappoint. Great food! And the owner was very friendly, chatted with us, thanked us for coming in and asked how we were referred. The second time we came in he remembered us and chatted with us again. Highly recommend for both food and service!

Absolutely delicious! I had the vegetarian-friendly (number 123) Mi xao Mem Chay, or "Bird's Nest", and it was something I definitely want to eat again. Yummy egg noodles, veggie stock, tofu and vegetables. I had the soft noodles this time, and last time I had the crunchy noodles version, (number 122) Mi xao Don Chay. Both are great. My Mom and brother both had different chicken dishes that they loved. The wait staff were nice and courteous. My family is definitely coming back.

So first let me say they received two stars instead of 3, max, because I asked for a sweet and sour sauce and when I got home I poured the sauce into my plate to dip my egg roll and to my surprise there was a small hair in it!!! but I NEED my sauce so call me gross or whatever but I still ate it. The egg rolls were not to my liking, I just didn't like the flavor.

Good food and Friendly staff.

I've been coming to DaNang for quite some time now and let me tell you, the food is amazing! The place has not changed one bit. From the banh mi sandwiches, to the pho soup everything is fresh and has amazing flavor. The owner takes pride in her business and it shows in the food. I have yet to have something I did not thoroughly enjoy. The fried rice is one of my favorite things to eat, so much flavor packed into such a simple dish.

The pho was pretty good. You seat yourself and you also pay at the front. Waitresses were attentive and the food was pretty much worth it for the price!

A Vietnamese Restaurant on Hillcrest that I’ve never been to. They served Pho of course, so big that my friend did not finish it. But, he comes to this spot once a month because of the Pho. I ordered the catfish plate serve with fried rice another huge serving but I am not complaining! The fish was crispy outside and soft and steamy when you bite into it. Loved the food.Service gets a 3.5, the staff were attentive but the communication experience was weird. But maybe it’s a culture thing. I asked for Vietnamese iced coffee and they served it like a drip coffee and the ice was separate. So the I asked “what do I do and how long do I wait?” The waitress said “wait til it stops dripping the n mix it!” Then said “patience!” Oh ok then!Overall rating is a 4 because they did not disappoint with the food!!!

Awesome as always. First time getting the cat fish. Best fried rice and I think I was served a whole school of cat fish, almost didn't finish it but I pushed through. Best chicken nuggets ever for the kid

We came here for lunch today because we had vietnamese sandwiches to go here a while ago and remembered they were good.We had pho, caramari and sandwiches.There were all delicious. The broth was great, the lemon dipping sauce for the caramari was good too.The owner is friendly and nice.

Year after year their high quality of food and service has held fast. Recently, I took my family here just before they closed and they treated us very well despite the obvious inconvenience it caused them.

Good place here. I got 120 - Satay Nuoc Cot Dua Chay. Which is fried tofu and vegetables win a peanut, coconut milk and lemon grass sauce along with white rice.Better than I expected since it's not a typical style of sauce that I'd normally get. But I enjoyed my plate and my wife really like her pho.

Food sucks: meal was salty, soup was not warm enough and had no flavor. The place is really pricey for the quality of food.

It is a family run delicious tasting generous portions,fresh food, everything from the fresh coconut drink in the coconut, to the main dishes is DELICiOUS and worth your going out and trying it.

Excellent Vietnamese cuisine. Would recommend to anyone. Try Imperial rolls and Vietnamese hot and sour soup with shrimp.

Plenty of room for parties ( large and small) Clean, quick service, just cannot say enough good about this place.Only draw back is if you are a Christian family eating there the waitress does have some vulgar tattoos near her breasts, which is not too good for children to read. Other than this one thing it should be five star.

Food is soo good!! I usually get a #18 steak pho , vegetarian spring rolls & peanut sauce. Highly recommend to try this place! The service is always amazing and on point. Small family business, they work hard and appreciate all there customers. They take cards but anything less then $10 they ask for cash only. Go try this place!

I go there for the bun bo hue because it's the only place in the area that makes it but now w/the closing of 2 Vietnamese restaurants in Brentwood, where I live, it is the ONLY Vietnamese restaurant of any merit left in the East CoCo County area. That's not the only reason to recommend it. The food is very authentic and well prepared. If you are familiar w/Vietnamese food (and especially if you are not), you should not be disappointed.

I had some spring rolls, a taste of my daughters pho, and an iced vietnamese coffee. Everything tasted good and service was great.

I am so disappointed nowadays with Da Nang which was a fave of mine for years! Service now sucks and food quality went downhill the moment they re-opened their original location in El Cerrito! The last time I ate there, the food was bland to say the least! Very atypical of Vietnamese Cuisine.I know they got busier but it doesn’t mean they’re better. Totally Disappointing!

My family came here before noon on the Sunday before July 4th 2017. The parking lot was mostly empty and the restaurant was less than a quarter full. But the place filled up quickly after we sat down. Service was prompt and sincere. The food came quickly. Prices are a bit higher than in San Francisco and San Jose, but that's expected when competition is thin. The pho and banh mi that we ordered were delicious and satisfying. The dining room is clean and not overly decorated. Good for kids and groups.

Not much Vietnamese varieties, but this one is a good alternative to Creasian. Although they have a vast menu, I suggest sticking to their Pho. Their Pho is good comfort food, but their crispy noodles was over fried and the minimal sauce didn't help. The egg rolls had good flavor and right mixture of filling.

We had a fantastic at this place. We loved the excellent environment and the menu. The staff were very amiable. I am glad we finally managed to visit this spot.

I am surprised at the rating this restaurant has. Can’t be true. I was very disappointed with our food. We ordered lemon grass chicken and lemon grass beef. The meat was extremely dry and had no flavor. The shrimp noodle rolls were not fresh. The wrap was chewy. Not recommended at all.
