Crackpot Restaurant

UPDATED REVIEW:I was there with a small party of 3 for the second time. As was the case with the first time I was there, the food was great and the drink from the bar was great. There was a new server working (I think her name was Alexis or Alexa - accept my apology if I am incorrect) but the point is, she was very nice, conversational, and helpful. She was a tad bit nervous, but the more she did her job the calmer she became. Will definitely return a third time and more once I get schedules down of some of my associates. Best food I have had in a long time. Nice prices and a nice atmosphere.

It's very "Baltimore Townie". Smells of crabs and faintly of ancient cigarette smoke from years of being true to itself.In a nod to modernity, though, their gluten free (actually GF for folks with celiac) options get it an extra star.

Nice people, great atmosphere, food is generally good but should be better for the price. Will still come back as my family loves it.

Jumbo crabs were full and tasty. Service was excellent. Good Manhattan cocktail and draft Yeungling.

Drink Prices are great! Always enjoy! Me and my Bestfriends hang out spot.

The Crackpot was recommend to me by a friend who lives in MD and boy do I owe him. I love seafood in general, but the blackend crab cakes are AMAZING!!! If my meal was any indication of where the bar is set, I'd have to say the bar is up near pole vaulter level. If you are in the vacinty make sure you stop by, you won't be disappointed. I wish I was able to come down this way more often to enjoy the rest of the cuisine.On a side note, please take a moment to look at the picture I took of the Heros Table. It is displayed with pride and in a place of prominence, right in the middle of the restaurant. We need more people to show their patriotism for our active duty military and veterans. Even if the food wasn't AMAZING I would make it a point to give them my business.

Crabs were amazing and beer was cold!

The crab cake was delicious. It was large enough to enjoy the full experience of having a crab cake. There with my daughters celebrating my birthday.
