Navy Pier is always an amazing place to be at. I worked security at the Deadmau5 concert and parking rates were pretty high.. not sure if it was due to the event or just in general.. that's why I took off one star... luckily I had a couple people with me who were willing to split the parking fee..

Charming even in winterWe visited pier on a sunny but cold day and thought it was really lovely. Not crowded at all so no waiting times at the attractions - if they are open. The Centennial Wheel was a fun ride and a welcome break from the walk. Cabins are heated. Pier was a calm and relaxing atmosphere

Quintessential Chicago tourist destination. Beautiful skyline and lake views, worth walking to the end of the pier in warmer weather. Plenty of options for food, but would highly recommend packing a lunch or eating elsewhere as prices can be exorbitant here. Accessible by bike!

One of the largest tourist attractions in Chicago, Navy Pier is unlike and other attraction in the city. There are always new expos and events being hosted here, so its never the same experience. Nothing beats the being out by the lake on a hot summer day, especially when they have fireworks!

A must visit if you’re a tourist in Chicago. From the Ferris wheel to the children’s museum...there is something for everyone! Even just walking the pier (which is free) is fun with amazing views of the city. Only con is getting there as it’s not on the beaten path but there is a bus

The winter wonderland event was awesome. So many rides and the ice skating was great. Definitely trying to come back again some timeP.S. The cotton candy was delicious. At least, the red cotton candy was. Can't speak on behalf of the blue

I had this place on my list of places to go to in Chicago but I wasn’t sure if I will make it because it was too cold for me the time that I went. Thank God on January 1 the weather wasn’t as cold as other days and we went to the Navy pier.It was an excellent experience. Walking and enjoying that gorgeous view was simply wonderful and I highly suggest you go and do so. With so many restaurants and stores to go to you can definitely spend the whole day here. This is not just for adults but also for kids it’s a place to be for people of all ages.

Wish they had public transportation more conveniently connected to this place. It's always challenging to visit them without a car.They have greenhouse with lots of trees and water fountains and it's nice with kids. Food courts are nice too.

Navy Pier was pretty cool, I feel like it would be WAY better in the warmer months, maybe another shop or two that is NOT just Chicago memorabilia, it looks like they have a lot of outside activities in the warmer months outside. Good selection of food and snacks, quite a bit to do, could defiantly spend a few hours here no problem. The view is absolutely beautiful though, especially when is started snowing lightly. If you got some time to kill anytime of the year I would suggest checking out the Pier. Also, they have an indoor botanical garden area with some very unique and fun fountains. It also has a shopping mall attached the the garden area . Kids museum is attached even though we didn't stop there it looks like 2 stories of fun for the whole family. Defiantly worth checkibg out, but be prepared, the parking is rather expensive in the parking decks.

Haven't been here in so long! But each time I am able to come and be a part of this special atmosphere it truly is something special. They've updated a few things since I was last here. But you will still be able to find your way around!! Great attraction if you need to entertain some out of town relatives! Good family spot as well because of the variety of options in terms of shopping, entertainment, and food!
