Chokas Caribbean Restaurant and Lounge

Everything was delicious. I had the jerk chicken with rice and peas. We also had the oxtails, curry, and fried plantains.The homemade hot pepper was sooo good. Professional, courteous and knowledgeable staff. Will return and I highly recommend.

I love Jamaican food. My New York roots and year living in Kingston require that I get a fix every now and again. This is a small mom and pop place that offers those popular dishes you crave. The roti is really good as is the curry chicken. Some days are hit or miss, which is what happens with smaller operations. They don't make Jamaican patties, either. These last two points are why it's getting three stars but that doesn't mean I won't be back. I will continue to support because we need this place on the beach. Hopefully, more people will discover them and give them the support they deserve.

I go to this superb restaurant once a month since I enjoy the ambiance that is unique to this restaurant. The team is exceptionally helpful and experienced. The service is extraordinarily quick. Most important, the food you get is perfect. I visited many times and I was always delighted. The price is modest. I suggest this restaurant to to all.

Exquisite food but expensive service included.We loved the food. The ambience and the music were also cool. But they included 18% of gratuity and the food come in plastic containers.Again the food is amazing!!! But please don't charge so much for the service.
