Chef's Market

A real find! A great and varied menu - loved the meatloaf. Everything appears to be homemade. The butter rolls are light and delicious. The whipped sweet potatoes are like a dessert. The service is great and the owner is delightful. We'll be back whenever we're in the area.

Seriously good food at a good price. Something for everyone here. Everything is fresh and tasty.

I like The Chef's Market. But I don't visit very often, but when I do I remember why I don't visit very often. I think it's expensive for what they offer you. It's pretty basic, down-home, Southern cooking, but it seems to come in at New York prices. But the food is good, it's varied, it's different than what you will see on other menus. And I usually have enough left over to take home for dinner that night, or lunch the next day. I think their gift shop is very unique and the deserts when you're checking out really, really tempt you.

I rated this 5 stars because I wanted people to see this review. They CHANGED the size of their cake slices (smaller), but KEPT them at the same PRICE!! Thought we WOULDN'T NOTICE, but we did 😑 That being said their cake is delicious and it’s probably healthier to have correctly portioned sized cake. BUT this is AMERICA. We live to over indulge 😤. Still love this place though.

Chef's Market catered our wedding 5 years ago and our friends are STILL talking about it. Not only was the food outstanding, but Ricky surprised us with personal touches that seamlessly tied with our theme and decor. I can't sing their praises enough! Variety of salads and homestyle foods deliciously prepared! Pot roast is just like Grandma's! Wonderful desserts and cookies. Nice selection of specialty gifts.

Amazing selection of great food, quality and quantity well worth the price when compared to chain restaurants. One of the best places in the Nashville area!

Great Food and Service! Jerusalem Chicken was Delicious!

Kinda pricey but I absolutely love the food. It's a meat a three home cooked meal. The best banana pudding. Best home made pimento cheese....I could go on on and on. Just go. You won't regret it. I promise you.

Chief complaint is the lack of prices displayed anywhere, not that they are bad but it would be nice to know in advance what you are paying. Two of us had lunch for $35. When you go in you go all the way thru the cliche gift shop items to the food line. There you ask for what you want, they played it and hand it to you. They give you a receipt you pay for after you are done shopping for gifts or cake. The food portions were very ample and delicious. Many have raved about the fruit tea and it is indeed amazing. This is in a strip mall ironically between a Planet Fitness and a cardiac imagining place.
