Caravela Family Restaurant

The food is always great here, we love the fries. My husbands favorite is the shrimp Mozambique, I like the chicken dinner. Pleasant staff a lo ways laughter in this restaurant.

What a great restaurant. We just took the chance and tried them out, and the next time we're in Fall River we will definitely be back. It's a nice family restaurant, with wonderful staff and great Portuguese food. The prices were amazing for the amount of food we got.

Nothing beats a family owned place with a small, simple menu where they can put all their focus into these dishes. They don't need to impress anyone with pages of various dishes. They do what they do, and they do it well. Highly recommend the steak. It's big, in a thin tomato sauce with nice big pieces of garlic, served with rice, homemade fries and 2 eggs sunnyside up. Caravela is a great restaurant, are you feeling like Portuguese and you live near Rhode island? This is the place for you. there food there is Exquisite and they have a good selection of drinks for you and the entire family. invade you were wondering, yes there is a kids menu. A genuinely overall great Restaurant I recommend it to anybody who likes Portuguese food.

This is a really nice family restaurant that offers very generous portions. Located on South Main St near Kennedy Park. The Portuguese style steak plate is terrific and the try the Shrimp Mozambique it is excellent. All meals are served with Portuguese style bread and they have a really nice selection of wine and spirits.

I've been here to eat once before and my meal was pretty great. I assume and consider this place probably a Fall River staple when it comes to Portuguese dinners. Food is good. Portions are great, especially for how inexpensive it is.Most recently, I came here just to pick up dessert. A friend of mine suggested it because I had a hankering for flan. So I bought an entire flan and an almond pie dessert to go. They were a bit pricey, but really, these are SERIOUSLY good desserts, so even though pricey, I still highly recommend.

Easily. I mean easily the best steak plate in the Northeast. I travel an hour to get it and I'd travel more. My kids love it. I take my parents with me and my wife craves it weekly. The steak is sooo tasty and thin, as it should be, the pepper perfect, the sauce to die for, the egg is half cooked/half oozing and man is it the rice and fries combo out of this world amazing. And the way the sauce flavors all of this is the icing on the cake. Wow. I have leftovers from my family feast in the fridge and my mouth is watering as I write this....I'll be back ;)
