Calypso Cafe 100 Oaks

I have ate at Calypso Cafe locations for over 20 years. I love the food choices. If you love Caribbean cuisine you will love it. They have mild and spicy food options and nice drinks also. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the service is great.

Love this place! The parking lot can be a little tricky with limited spaces, doesn't help that some people park in non-spots and block others in 🙄. Staff has always been pleasant, service quick and good always fresh. I love their Tuna salad, Cole slaw & sweet potatoes, but my new favorite is the black bean Nachos with beef... It turns lunchtime into a party 😋 And I have to say Calypso has the most appealing, clean, fresh, SEEDED lemons I've ever seen. ❤️👌

I got the nachos this time, but have done the chicken the past! Loved them both. Glad to have a dark meat option- if you're stuck eating the white meat, you're missing out! I can't eat gluten, and this place has plenty of options for me. The service is low key but warm- I've felt right at home. Nobody is going crazy to kiss up to you, but you get what you need! Sometimes it can get loud in the Berry Hill location due to the building, but I always go for lunch and don't mind the noise. The jerk sauce is great, and the sides are quality.

Tastes great and I don't feel guilty after eating here.

The food is flavorful, but they need to work a bit on the service and presentation. They have nice vegetarian options. The food tasted great, but I questioned their cleanliness due to the relaxed way I saw the employee handling food. The atmosphere does not scream, "We hold to high standards". At the end of the day, I'm willing to give them a second chance. I could've came on a "off day".

Always great food and service. Usually busy over lunch during week and on weekends so plan ahead.

Nice laid back place. Food is really flavorful and light. Jerk sauce is delish, corn muffins are really good, and they serve Red Stripe 👍First time there tonight and will definitely be back for seconds!

Good food, the mint chocolate brownies are amazing! Nice atmosphere and quick service!
