Cafe Talya

First time here, blown away. First the staff was amazing, Sarya our server was perfect. The chefs and atmosphere welcoming. The standards in the food prep, kitchen, and seating area were spotless. The food ah the food....from presentation to my Jersey favorite pork roll all perfect. Would highly recommend and will be back!

From the moment you come to that place they give you a comfortable feeling. Very warm hosts, it is a good place to pass time with buddies or with your date. delicious food, professional chief cook and stuff, comfortable cost and generous service. Highly recommended.

What a great little spot! I just moved to Bayonne and was having brunch w some friends. They said lets go to Cafe Talya it has a good rating on YELP. And boy did it deliver. We had to wait 15 minutes because the place is small. A counter and a few tables. It was worth the wait. The food was delicious and the service IMPECCABLE! Fresh squeezed OJ was a hit with us all and even my Vegan wife left happy. I will definitely be going back! Well done Cafe Talya!!!

Great service very friendly everyone said Hi and bye. Coffee is good. Blueberry short stack was good. Had talyas banana French toast which I thought was amazing. And talyas potatoes. Which was good. But season yourself little salt and pepper makes it wow and if you like ketchup that too

Mastery of the fundamentals. That’s what it’s all about at Cafe Talya. Simple ingredients that are cooked to perfection and composed in a way that make your taste buds go, “YaaaSSsssSs. Encore!!”But wait there’s more. Not only is the food amazing, the restaurant feels homey and the service is consistently outstanding. This place has quickly become one of my favorite breakfast places. I do not have any pictures to post with this review because I inhale all my food as soon as it’s served here.

Found this place by accident and what a hidden gem it is....Atmosphere is awesome and cozy...service is excellent. Even if place is full your food comes in a timely manner. Plates are delicious. Fresh squeezed orange juice is AMAZING!!!

Best place to have brunch! French Toast with banana and strawberries is my fav!!!

My coworker and I visited Cafe Talya today for a quick lunch. The restaurant was very cozy, and welcoming as we walked in. I ordered the Vegetarian omelet and my co-worker ordered the Talya omelet with potatoes and rye breads on the side. Although I asked them to cook my order without salt, they were more than happy to accommodate- and replaced the side of potatoes with fresh fruits. The owners were very nice and friendly not just to us, but to all customers.Everything on the menu is made-to-order, which makes sense to their hot and fresh food! The fact that they have an open kitchen makes me worry-free! Also, I saw them squeezing oranges to serve a glass of OJ. :) I will definitely come back this place with other co-workers to try that OJ and some other menus as well.

I ordered Turkish breakfast platter and Turkish coffee to go. They packed our food nicely of course food tasted great. Assorted olives, apricot, butter, and tomato were all separated in individual containers. I love the effort. The restaurant closes early so I will be back next time I take a day off from work.
