Make sure to try the pastel de natal, the most typical Portuguese pastry. They have a delicious one!

It’s my go-to work from home place . LOVE the aesthetic. Great food, drink. Supports local artists. A wonderful, cozy neighborhood spot.

Cute, airy cafe that balances coastal casual + healthy savory. Great sunlight and housemade pastries.

Recently moved to the Bernal Heights area and needed a place to work on my projects. Cafe St. George is perfect. Friendly staff, great breakfast and coffee menu. Cozy environment and filled with more locals than tourists. Love this spot!

Fine spot for delicious cafe food. The staff was friendly and observant. Prices are decent for the quality. They have so many great reviews for a reason.

cafe food and the feeling at this place is excellent. Entered near ten, it was not crowded. Service treated us so kindly. This place has a cool design.

Cute little Portuguese coffee shop and local eatery with a nice selection of pastries, fabulous food, and a wide variety of hot and cold beverages. Great assortment of tasty brunch/lunch options, most served on thick yummy bread. Portions for most dishes are large and they don't skimp on the toppings or plate presentation. Good place for vegetarians and there are a few options that are likely vegan- and celiac- friendly as well. Lovely sunny ambience with walls decorated with colorful indie art, and small details like plant centerpieces in retro bottles and customized table signs and napkin rings. There's lots of seating in a small space so even though it's usually busy, I've always been able to get a table right away. Nice spot for a breakfast date, coffee with a friend, or working from a laptop (though note they sometimes restrict laptops during peak times).
