One of my (and my wife) favorite restaurants, small place (12 or so tables) - reasonable wine selection that won't break your wallet and great food. Never had a bad experience there in 20+ years

Good food. Had the Reuben which was tasty but the bread got soggy quick. Good iced tea. Decor is kitschy. Not really French menu as far as I can tell

I've been coming here for years (my parents live right down the street), and have always experienced high-quality food and service. About 10 years ago I hosted a dinner to celebrate my parents' 25-year anniversary. My last visit this May was no different. Unfailingly kind and professional staff. Delicious food: We had 3 appetizers, 5 entrees and 2 desserts, all wonderful. Notable is the fettuccine with filet tips and the venison special. My elderly mom's original pasta dish had too much garlic for her taste and the server graciously insisted on bringing another of the same dish. Then the chef came out to make sure it was to her liking. Very much appreciated. I've always loved the location and interior of this restaurant. Highly recommend!

Delightful as always. Fine dining without all the fuss. Lots of local wines and beers.

The sauce with my wife's salmon was incredible and I had a perfectly cooked duck breast. We had the pork belly appetizer, and it was amazing- the right amount of meatiness, with great balance of sweet and touch of balsamic- even with how seemingly overused pork belly is these days, it was a delight. The atmosphere is nice but comfortable, great for a special occasion without being uptight.

Chef Bob and his team deliver a wonderful dining experience once again! Bravo!
