Great atmosphere and smells. I’d like to see higher end meat options.Pictured below are the wild boar ribs. They were presented very nicely. As for the meat, it was kinda funky tasting. Not sure if these ribs were in freezer for too long.

Great food and drinks. Excellent service. Nick at the bar makes the best drinks in town.

Got the 2 meat plate here. The brisket was just a tad dry, but still tasty. The sauce was great. Brat also quite good. 4.5 stars. Walked in with a large group at lunch and still had seating so that was great!

Upscale dining place but not the best barbeque in Austin. If you want the nice dining experience, Lambert's is all yours. Suggest to keep looking elsewhere for better BBQ.

In the heart of downtown, Lambert's is what you would call a higher end BBQ place. The menu is divine and the bar serves some one of the best old fashioned cocktails in the city. On Sundays, they server a smoked prime rib dinner special. For $45 l, you get a salad, smoked prime rib with a side, and a dessert. What makes this special is that you get 3 wine pairings to go along with the meal. Come Sunday and come hungry!

I love Lamberts! The staff is friendly, the food and drinks are awesome, and the environment is really nice. I've been in a couple of times and have not been disappointed. My favorite apps on the menu so far are the frito pie and chicken fried oysters, super delicious.
