Stopped by on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Outside seating fantastic. Food outstanding, kids and adults very happy. City pricing, but generous serves, attentive and friendly staff. Brunch menu had some nice offerings. Chilaquiles top notch.

Great service and food! I think it's safe to say this is a regular place for me. I introduce all my friends to this hidden gem!

Delicious Mexican food. Some of the best salsa I've had. This place felt very authentic. I would definitely go back.

Great specials, excellent service, and happy hour house margaritas--get one on the rocks with a salted rim. The rice and beans are just right imho and I can always rely on their picadillo tacos or enchiladas. Free chips and salsa, though spicy, is an added bonus!

I'm from Texas - and this is the best Mexican joint in Chicago. Food is great, salsa is legit spicy (and tasty), drinks are good, staff is wonderful. Don't miss this place.

A great local mexican joint! After having been several times, I can say this is a great neighborhood stop. The drinks are great and so is the food. The natural selections are nice, such as the salads and the chicken/fish. The burritos etc. are also massive, yet still delicious. Everything is really good here.The atmosphere is also fitting and they also have outdoor seating. The service is friendly and the food was served quickly. But, they don't discourage you from staying awhile and enjoying your company and conversation. Overall a great local joint.Atmosphere: 9/10Service: 9/10Food: 9/10

Fantastic food and drink in a low key atmosphere. Cream of poblano soup a highlight. Skinny margaritas very good. Excellent service. We'll be back.

There is plenty of indoor and outdoor dining available and they have a good sized menu for brunch and for standard options. The thing I especially liked was that the salsa that came with the chips was spicy and flavorful. My wife enjoyed her dish, which I tried and also thought was tasty. The reason why I gave it an average rating was because they brought me a steak torta when I ordered the vegetarian. Being vegetarian isn’t a fad for me, it’s a religious thing, so eating that wouldn’t haven’t been good. I would go back and try them again, but it may be a while. They did try and make up for this error by sending us out a dessert that we didn’t order. I appreciated that sentiment.

Over and above the standard US service - after going to several restaurants here I was quite surprised to come across one with such high quality service for the relatively low costs. Staff were friendly and interested in your experience. Food: 100% 5 stars. I was happy to see the Chihuahua cheese in the quesadilla instead of the orange cheese I see around! Can’t wait to visit again. ¡Fantástico!
