Cafe Eccell serves the tastiest for in town. However, sea food is much better than meat or chicken. The ambiance is calm and soothing. I like their playlist. The service is good and they don't make you wait a lot. The price of food might seem slightly high to students, but, it's worth it. A must visit restaurant in town.

Went here to try their fruit tarts. While their version was tasty, an almond cookie shell filled with whipped cream and some strawberries on top is not a strawberry tart..and for $9? Where is the custard filling and pastry crust? Might as well get rid of the strawberries, add a little lime flavor to the whipped cream, and call it a key lime pie.The lunch overall was very good and I would go back. Just no more "fruit tarts" for me.

Service was outstanding and food yummy! Delightful make-your-own bloody mary or mimosa bar was fun and fresh. Attention Ruben sandwich lovers - hands down the best rubens around!

I organized a work happy hour here with a group of about 60 people and we had a great time! The event coordinator was super helpful throughout the planning process, helping me set the menu and getting everything ready. The servers and bartenders who took care of us were fantastic, I could not speak more highly of them. Thanks for having us!

I enjoy this place every time I come to College Station , the food is great and I had never have to wait for a table even on a busy Saturday or Sunday morning !

Overall a nice dining experience. Service was excellent. Food was good. Prices were a bit higher than expected, but they weren't outrageous. A great place to go on special occasions.

Don't get me wrong, this is a good place but most likely not going back. The restaurant and bar areas are nicely decorated and all folks were cordial and efficient. Ambiance was romantic, if a bit too dark. They had pretty vases with candles in each table and seemed like the lights were dimmed. The food and drink selection was varied, even though the wine my wife selected was out of stock. The waiter quickly let us know though. SO had the salmon and I opted for the house salad. Both dishes were good but, here's my thing, they were not THAT good. A bit bland for our tastes. Nevertheless, it all seemed freshly made. For those of you that care, this is not cheap. Dinner for two with a couple of single drinks and appetizers will run you about $70 + tip.

Went to have brunch for the first time. The food choices looks great on menu, but sadly I wasn't very impressed when the plates came out. It was okay but missing some of the waffles from chicken and waffle plate and the plate is over priced. Ordered the calamari and not good. I've had it at fish daddy's and napa flats and it was way better there. Also the times I've been to Eccell it takes so long for the food to come out.

Wow, were in College Station for a special Birthday and chose Cafe Eccell. Great choice. It's a class restaurant. Several tasty entrees, great desserts, helpful wait staff.Reasonable response time for food even though it was very busy.Highly recommended.Phil

We were treated with exceptional dignity. In spite of our large party size, all of our orders were taken efficiently and our food was delivered hot and delicious.
