Cafe Benelux

Some of the best food in Milwaukee conveniently located right next to the trolley station. The burgers here are always a cut above what you would get anywhere else in the Third Ward area. Even their take on the grilled cheese, "The Antigoon", stands out as a star item for me. Absolutely delicious food and great service every time I've been here.

Visited cafe benelux for the first time tonight for our anniversary dinner. It was fantastic! Both food and service. Question for the owner, how do we get to have dinner in the dome? Wife was super interested for next time.

Great menu in a metro atmosphere. Food was excellent and service was great! Really nice place in the 3rd ward.

I arrive at this excellent restaurant from time to time since I enjoy the good mood that is outline this place. The team is extremely welcoming and well trained. The service is deeply quick. Not to mention, the food they serve is perfect. I frequent often and I was never disappointed. The expense is fair. I suggest this restaurant to to all.

We had a bachelorette party in the domes first week of Jan 2020 for my daughter. Very cozy, wait staff was great. However a 55 dollar cheese board for 8 came and was laughable! It looked like people had eaten half of it before it arrived. There was barely enough for 4 people . The 14 dollar cheese board at pizza man is beautiful and has a lot more on it.. The 55 dollar bloodies were also a joke . One carafe of bloody mix served 4 people. In small tumblers. We asked for another carafe of mix, not vodka, and we were told there might be a charge for it. We complained and were not charged.I have never written a bad review like this, but we spent a decent amt of money there. For 55 dollars don't be so cheap on the food.

Food was amazing, I ordered the Hodge Podge and banana Nutella waffle. Cappuccino was more bitter than I like but is served with a chocolate square. Shawn (Sean?) was very attentive and quick. 5 stars in my books. Will definitely stop when I am in Milwaukee again.

I tried the cobb salad and it was okay. I was expecting more chicken and the bacon was okay. The cheese was disappointing. I also tried the chicken sliders. The bread was quite good but the chicken patties were rather flat. Beer was great! Worth a shot! Excellent service!

Mid afternoon on a Monday was a great time if you prefer a mellow vibe. The sweet potato fries were really good. I ordered the Lamburger...so very good! My friend ordered the Nederlander salad which she enjoyed...

All the good beer and bites. As solid of a Belgian bier selection at you'll find in the city, great apps, excellent bloodies and brunch, service has always been on point. The rooftop is awesome on one of the 12 nice days we get per year. And the meatloaf (pictured) will warm the soul and spike the blood pressure.

Excellent food and service. It was only a few minutes after we ordered that our food came out of the kitchen and was delicious. Bloody Mary was excellent and spicy, I really liked the variety of Bloodies they have.The only disappointing thing was the coffee, I just had black coffee but it was really low quality. Definitely not what I expected given how great everything else was. I would still come back and just not get coffee next time.
