Chef Michael Chiarello has returned to his culinary roots by creating seasonal farm-to-table Italian cuisine reflecting the bold flavors of Chiarello’s heritage in his signature style 1st made famous at Tra Vigne in the 90’s. An award winning chef/vintner & Food Network host, Chiarello celebrates his Italian roots and the Napa Valley with a menu echoing his long practice of using the finest locally/sustainably produced food. Located in Yountville, in the heart of the Napa Valley, Bottega’s extensive wine list represents hard-to-find favorites of the Valley and interesting Italian selections. Chiarello restored the integrity of an old 1800’s estate by uncovering beautiful hard wood floors, timber beams, old brick walls and windows. The inviting dining room is accented with reclaimed antiques, warm fabrics and eclectic light fixtures lending to the restaurant’s old world comfort.

October 9, 2018Ate here 10 years ago on our honeymoon and decided to come back and do it again 10 years later. This is my all time favorite restaurant. The ambiance, service and of course the food are all exceptional. If there was one disappointment it was that the Chocolate Soufflet was no longer on the menu but we really were too full to eat that anyway.

September 26, 2018MehI ordered the NY Strip and while the meat was lovely, it took a long time to prepare and the sides were disappointing. The beverages were not impressive and the service was mediocre. I had to ask for more water twice, and a different wine glass. And while we had dinner with a group of 5, the server was unwilling to split the check. Bottom line: good food, but maybe you should just go for lunch.

August 26, 2018First off, I’d like to say this place was very accommodating. Our party was 30mins late and they still seated us. The staff were great and friendly. The food was to die for! Tasty. Delicious. Yummy in my tummy. Our group had several different dishes and everyone was pleased with their plate.

August 16, 2018I have had some dreamy meals at Bottega. The gnocchi “pillows†(of heaven) are probably my favorite, although it is always hard for me to choose because the menu offers so many awesome options.

August 14, 2018Want to come back. 4 of us had a wonderfull experience. They have GF menu. Now we are in Napa and they have a great big variety of wines to chose from. Tasty apps and good selection of meals. I loved my porterhouse and did not finish. Mark our waiter was on top of everything and awesome to have. The other staff was great also.Place is beautiful and clean. Sit inside or out side. Its is nestled in between some shops and a nice property. I think they host weddings also? Great dinner!!!

August 3, 2018Excellent food and service. We ordered a few dishes. The zucchini and potato lasagna was absolutely wonderful. The wilted kale salad was full of flavor, the mix of textures elevated this choice.

July 23, 2018We stopped for drinks and appetizers. Moscow muels were so delicious as were the tapas. I'll definitely come back here! The staff was very nice and accommodating too.

July 17, 2018Check out the amazing wine menu and make sure to leave room for dessert. Fun and lively atmosphere. This is a high end restaurant with warm and friendly staff. Not snobby at all which makes me feel comfortable. But get dressed up and have a nice night out!
